“Through The Week” picks up whereKeep It Litleft off, pairing classically breezy Bay Area production with Kamaiyah’s effortless flow. Lyrically, it’s a blue-collar anthem — “Monday, Tuesday / Wednesday, Thursday / Hit me if it’s urgent / Every day I’m workin’ / Friday, Saturday / Runnin’ into Sunday / Every day I’m hustlin’ / I be gettin’ money,” she rap-sings in the lead-up to the hook — but her delivery is so relaxed it’s hard to imagine her breaking a sweat.
